Mum-to-be Nicole Kidman has vowed never to do a duet with her country crooner hubby Keith Urban.
In the February issue of British InStyle, the 40-year-old actress says: “I would never duet with him! I’m an actress and I think the beauty of two artists being together is that you don’t step into each other’s fields. We have our work, but most important is our life together, we don’t want to blend the two.”
She also revealed she had no idea who Keith was when they were introduced at a black-tie ball for Australians in L.A. three years ago: “I didn’t know who he was and still don’t. But I’m on a mission to learn who he is! I love that he makes music and I think it’s a gorgeous gift he’s been given. If he uses it the right way, he can do some beautiful things that contribute to the world.”

Actress Nicole Kidman has revealed she is pregnant, reportedly withdrawing from a film project to protect her unborn child.
Less than 18 months into her marriage to country singer Keith Urban, the 40-year-old confirmed the long-rumoured pregnancy through her publicist Wendy Day.
"The couple are thrilled," Ms Day said in a statement. "For years I've seen speculation and for years it's never been right, so I didn't think it was right this time … and then she's just rung this morning (yesterday). I personally didn't know, so I'm excited … very excited."
Ms Day told The Age that she did not know how long the star had been pregnant and could not comment on whether gossip was true that Kidman had conceived through IVF.
However, Kidman's mother, a clearly thrilled Janelle Kidman, hinted that the baby might arrive around her daughter's 41st birthday. "I think it's in July," Mrs Kidman told Channel Seven.

 Nicole Kidman is niet zwanger. Dat heeft haar woordvoerder verklaard tegenover de Australische krant Melbourne Herald Sun. Daarmee zijn de geruchten over een eerste kindje voor de actrice en haar man Keith Urban de kop ingedrukt.
De Britse krant Daily Mail meldde zaterdag dat Nicole en Keith tijdens de kerstdagen hun familie en vrienden hadden meegedeeld dat ze een kindje verwachten. Volgens de woordvoerder van de 40-jarige actrice klopt hier dus niets van. "Als alle verhalen kloppen, zou ze inmiddels al dertig baby's hebben gehad."
Kidman heeft al twee kinderen, de 14-jarige Isabella en de 12-jarige Connor. Die adopteerde ze samen met ex-man Tom Cruise, met wie ze elf jaar getrouwd was. Ze delen de voogdij. Tijdens het huwelijk met Cruise eindigden twee zwangerschappen in vroeggeboorten. Countryzanger Urban heeft geen kinderen.
