Tijdens haar VWO-opleiding volgde Celine Purcell een jaar de vooropleiding Muziektheater.
Daarna begon zij aan de studie Rechten aan de Universiteit Leiden.
Volgde de workshops bewegings- en theatercompositie en musical-zangvoordracht bij Frank Sanders.
Kreeg acteerlessen van Mara Otten en zangles van James Hutchinson.

Van kind af aan was Céline te zien in diverse amateur-musicalproducties waaronder in "Oliver", "Scrooge", "Anatevka", "The Wiz en Joseph".
Nadat zij bij het Nederlands Musical Ensemble de titelrol in de musical "Evita" had gespeeld begon zij haar professionele carrière bij "Miss Saigon" (understudy Ellen 1999).
Daarna volgde de musical "Elisabeth" (1999-2001), "Titanic de Musical" en in het seizoen 2002-2003 was ze te zien als Liesl von Trapp in "The Sound Of Music".
In 2004 speelde Céline de rol van Sophie in "Mamma Mia!".
Momenteel is ze te zien in "Belle en het Beest" (alternate Belle). In seizoen 2006 – 2007 zal Celine te zien zijn in de musical “My fair lady” waarin zij de hoofdrol “Elisa” zal vertolken.
